Perlite raw is an inorganic rock, which is formed during volcanic eruptions. The rocks crushed into different sizes and purified from the dust and other materials to classified raw material for different sizes and applications. Raw Perlite contains crystallized water that is evaporated when heated over 900 C creating numerous microscopic air holes in the granular which provide the expanded perlite a unique characters and properties as below .

Expanded perlite can be use as pure Substrate in soilless culture and for hydroponic growth . also can be use as additive to be mix with peat moss , cocopeat ,compost or any other organic product .adding perlite to the growing media substrate is reducing the substrate volume weight and increase the air capacity and draining ability .expanded perlite is high recommended to be use in any substrate mixture or potting soil for seedling and growing cultivation and gardening
